AVT, Inc. Files Lawsuit Against Randall Lane, Author of New Book About Stock Market

CORONA, Calif., July 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AVT, Inc. (formerly Automated Vending Technologies), (Pink Sheets:AVTC.pk - News) (www.avtinconline.com) today announced it has filed a $100 million lawsuit for libel and false statements in the Superior Court of California, County of Orange, Santa Ana, California, Case #00386093, against Randall Lane, author of the new book "The Zeroes: My Misadventures in the Decade Wall Street Went Insane."

The lawsuit involves claims made in the book by Mr. Lane about AVT, former baseball All-Star Lenny Dykstra and well known TV stock analyst Jim Cramer. "We are simply not going to allow anyone to publicly defame AVT in this matter without taking action against them," said Shannon Illingworth, Company founder.
